The Software is provided "as-is", without any express or implied warranty,
to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
In no event shall the author be held liable for any damages arising from the
direct or indirect use of the Software. The user must assume the entire risk 
of using the Software, knowing in particular that the Software is not designed
or intended for use in hazardous environments requiring fail-safe performance, 
where its failure to perform, misuse or inability to use adequately can 
reasonably be expected to lead to death, personal injury, or severe physical or
environmental damage. 

Right of use/Distribution

The Universit de Franche-Comt grands permission to anyone to use freely this software for pedagogical and academic research  purposes. No part of the NooJ software, nor any of its package content (documentation, projects or linguistic resources) nor any file published on the NooJ Web site may be reproduced, copied, modified or adapted, without the prior written consent of their author(s), unless otherwise indicated for stand-alone materials.

Commercial use and redistribution of any content of the NooJApp.zip package or of the NooJ Web site is not allowed without express and prior written consent of the Universit de Franche-Comt.

The sofware can be used to develop linguistic resources in the form of dictionaries and morphological, syntactic and semantic grammars and apply them to texts to perform various types of linguistic analyses. All resources developed with NooJ belong to their author(s), with no attached restriction.

-- The Standard .NET/Mono version of NooJ can be freely used for pedagogical and research use only: no commercial use is allowed.

-- The JAVA version of NooJ is free and open source and is protected by the European Metashare program under the GPL license.

This license states that any correction, optimization, addition or deletion of any part of the NooJ application's or linguistic resource's source, must be published as a free open source software under the same GPL license, and must be made available back to the NooJ author and to the public. It is forbidden to insert any part of the NooJ application, linguistic resource or any file in any commercial application software without
the express written authorization of their author.
